do you think the phenomenon of blog parasitism exists? where a person regularly comments on your blog and in doing so creates a blog within your blog? i wonder if people do that?
i am currently letting my Jacques Pepin-esque sauce cook down. I seared italian suasage links, sauteed some onions and garlic and dumped in some shitty canned tomatoes. i remembered using the other half of one can of tomatoes last night and how acidic they were, so, right off, i added half a tsp of baking soda (acid+base = less acid) to tonights dish. It frothed like a model volcano and i felt brilliant. but i was disappointed to find that this made the sauce taste like cardboard. i am not as smart as i thought. or maybe i am, but i was too zealous. anyway, i dumped in some vinegar as a correction. and now it simmers. the house smells like garlic and sausage.
