Feel like I'm just getting back to normal life after the holidays...Xmas to New Year's was a blur, then I had to go VA for that work meeting, which was a blur, then had to come back to work and let go two people from my team, which made last week a blur of anxiety. I took Friday off, and had a relaxing weekend...first one in a while. I think it was last Friday, when I was going to bed, and I looked at Andrea and the kitties in the bed and realized that I had been out of my gourd for weeks. Hadn't been going to karate hardly at all, had been holiday partying too much, was all out of sorts. Am only now catching my breath. Plus it got cold again, after some oddly warm weather, and the cold air feels refreshing and makes it easier to sleep.

Last night we made friggin' DELICIOUS Portuguese chicken stew, which we had eaten once at Logan and Betsy's. Was so good and made the apartment smell all homey and warm.

Anyhoo...
