I actually check in on my blog if I haven't read it or posted to it for a while, as if something might have changed on it. How silly is that?

I think I'm just checking in on how old parts of it feel. The best part of blogging to me is the ability to capture details that fade quickly. Of course, some details are best left to fade, but I remember them and remember other things around them, so for me they're good cues as to where I was (in the figurative sense) at particular places/times...

I've secretly been reading the blog of this dude who went to the same high school and college as me. His name is Peter Conrad. I like his blog a lot, yet I've never emailed him to say so. That's lame.
