This lime wedge willingly gave its life to a glass of soda water...

Andrea and I went out for dinner tonight to the New Leaf Cafe in Fort Tryon Park. We'd been there a few times, and tonight was the best food we've eaten there. We split an appy of oysters poached with butter, served in the shell with escarole and tobikko caviar. For entrees, Andrea had pappardelle with pulled wild boar meat, green olives and cannelli. I had roast sirloin and braised short ribs served with broccolini, polenta and onion relish. Friggin' del-ISH. Dessert was an apple tart with cinnamon ice cream and caramel sauce.
